Hostal Puerto Genoves - San Jose (Almeria)

Great location! This place is close to an amazing Indian restaurant, a lively Saturday market, the bus station, and various shops, restaurants, and the beach. You can easily access secluded beaches as well. 🏖️.

The hotel was well-organized, the staff were helpful, very nice experience overall. Breakfast with fab coffee. Reasonably large room and neat with a terrace. What a perfect location close to everything!

Low budget hotel.

extremely comfy bed, excellent bathroom and terrace and air conditioning in the room. good choice of goodies for breakfast. the staff was attentive and the setting was magnificent.

The location is stunning and exceptionally nice, close to a supermarket and there is the Donut Nest nearby for a cup of coffee.

We booked a guest room with a great shower and greatly enjoyed it. The local staff was kind and sympathetic...

The staff here are friendly and responsive, the room is spacious, clean with convenient amenities, and the bathroom is excellent.

The beds are very comfortable and there is a terrace and climate control in the room.

The value for money at Hostal Puerto Genoves was really good, with comfortable rooms and plenty of storage space. The location was perfect, being in a quiet area within walking distance of the center and also close to street parking.

More breakfast choices would have enhanced the overall experience.

I stayed here for 3 nights. the hotel was fabulous. - It has a great and absolutely perfect location next to a town beach and the main tourist area. - All the staff was kind and sympathetic.

We had a wonderful time at this cute little hotel with a garden. the room was well-equipped, with a teapot, cups, teas, and coffee. the double bed was the biggest we've ever seen - it could easily fit four people! the breakfast was delicious, especially the coffee. the host was incredibly gracious and kind, and the room overlooked a small garden. It was also conveniently located close to the beach. This would be a great place for a small family holiday, as there was a playroom with toys and books for kids. Cons: Couldn't stay longer 😔.

Convenient Location and Comfortable Room

This place is just a short walk from Clear Kayak, which was really convenient. The room I stayed in was well-kept and I particularly liked the cozy bed, which was a good size. 😊

I can recommend this place and would love to return. The location is MAGNIFICENT, close enough to the center and beach, as well as restaurants/bars nearby. The rooms were airy and spotless with a balcony. It was nice having a private safe, central heating, and an iron.

I recently stayed at Hostal Puerto Genoves for a short break and was thoroughly impressed. The location was perfect - quiet, yet close to restaurants, beaches, and all amenities. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The room and entire hotel were spotlessly clean, and the pool and garden area were a nice touch. Our room had a lovely terrace overlooking the garden and park, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely be returning to this pleasant hotel on my next visit.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a ceiling fan and air conditioning. the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. They provided us with utensils so that we could have breakfast on the terrace. the shower was amazing with different types of jets. the small fridge in the room was also very convenient.

There was an issue with dust and leaves coming into the room when the terrace door was open. This was particularly noticeable on windy days.
